I'm only giving a 1 star because there is not a 0 star option! Wanted tacos for taco Tuesday and the Highland Beach in was packed so we drove to the Cove. First red flag was only 4 cars in the parking lot, went inside and 4 tables total counting ours. Waited a good 10 min Just to give drink order. We ordered chips and salsa for an appetizer....Just plain chips and salsa took 45 min with a total of 15 customers in the whole place! She then brought out our food 2 min later no silverware or napkins. My husband used a chip to put sour cream on his taco. She took out glasses to refill them when she brought the food. After waiting another 10 min for silverware and refills I went o the bar and asked for silverware and napkins. She told me there wasn't any wrapped that's why she didn't bring us any! I then had to carry 2 drinks and 4 sets of silverware and napkins back to our table. Then we still waited another 10 me n for another beer!! Horrible service, nothing like when it was Capt Chucks. We will not ever go back
Ok so it was taco Tuesday. NO limes for the margaritas. You people know you will be selling a ton of them on taco Tuesday, you need to be more prepared. Barely anything in our tacos and the quaso was so freaking spicy I couldn't eat it, thanks for letting us know about that before we ordered it . NOT. My family and I will definitely not be returning. We wondered why the parking lot only had 3 cars in it at 5:00 in the evening. When it was captain chucks, if you weren't there by 4:00 you would have to wait forever for a seat on taco Tuesday. Sorry but I don't think you guys will last very long
New owners (I think). Good drinks, bad food and short staffed on a Friday evening.
Always a pleasure going for lunch at the Cove. Great pizzas new crust is good Toby just needs not to be rolled that thin in center ,needed fork to eat,no big deal though
If you like your neighborhood dive bar, this is your place. Booths are torn, bar stools woobly. The food can be good depending upon who is cooking. Wait staff are friendly. Karaoke on weekends and an occasional band.
